About the Job
Brainy Builds is seeking a Technical & Business Solutions Architect to grow our client portfolio and deliver software solutions for businesses in Malta and Europe.
Role Overview
Own the complete client lifecycle, from lead generation, technical consulting, and commercial negotiations to solution architecture, development, and project delivery.
Main Responsibilities
- Identify, engage, and convert potential clients.
- Lead client meetings, proposals, and commercial negotiations.
- Analyze business challenges and define technical solutions.
- Design and develop scalable software systems.
- Lead technical projects, architecture, and development.
- Manage project scope, delivery, and product requirements.
- Identify opportunities for automation and optimization.
- Ensure compliance with applicable EU regulations.
Requirements
- Based in Malta.
- Fluent in English and Russian.
- Strong technical and commercial communication skills.
- Experience in client acquisition and B2B sales.
- Knowledge of Maltese and European business environments.
- Understanding of GDPR and EU software compliance.
- Ability to independently lead projects and client relationships.
Experience and Background
- Proven experience in software engineering and technical leadership.
- Experience in software architecture and system integrations.
- Background in business development and technical consulting.
- Experience in project management and product ownership.
- Experience delivering software solutions of varying complexity.
Skills and Qualifications
- Backend: Node.js, TypeScript, REST APIs.
- Frontend: React, Tailwind CSS.
- Fullstack: Next.js, Node.js, TypeScript.
- Databases: SQL, PostgreSQL, NoSQL, Vector Databases.
- Architecture: Microservices, APIs, System Integrations.
- DevOps: Docker, Containerization, VMs.
- Software solution design, development, and deployment.
- Technical scoping, estimation, and documentation.
Nice to Have
- Existing professional network in Malta or the EU.
- Experience with CRM and sales pipeline management.
- Experience with AI solutions and business process automation.
- Experience managing technical teams and external stakeholders.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms.
